Go Fish is a fun game that is fun and entertaining for even the youngest card players. It is similar to the Authors game.
Deck
A standard 52-card deck is used. Some cards are dealt and the rest form a stock pile.

Goal of the game
The goal is to win the most “hands”. A hand is any four cards of the same suit, e.g. four kings, four aces, etc.
Rank of cards
The rank of cards is from A (high) to 2 (low). The suit is not important, only the rank is important, e.g. two 3s, two 10s, etc.
Dealing
Any player deals one card to each player, face up. The player with the lowest card is the dealer. The dealer shuffles the cards and the player to his right cuts them.
The dealer finishes cutting and deals the cards face down, one by one, starting with the player to his left, clockwise. If playing with two or three people, each player receives seven cards. If playing with four or five people, each player gets five cards. The remaining cards are placed face down on the table as a reserve.
How to Play
The player to the left of the dealer looks directly at any opponent and says, for example, “Give me your K,” usually by calling the opponent by name and stating the rank they want, from A to 2. The player “fishing” must have at least one card of the requested rank in their hand. The player being asked must hand over all of the requested cards. If the player does not have one, they say “Go fishing!”, and the player making the request draws the top card from the stock and places it in their hand.
If a player gets one or more cards of the requested rank, they have the right to ask for a card from the same or another player. Players can ask for the same card or a different card. As long as a player successfully gets a card (catches a fish), their turn continues. When a player catches a fish, they must show the card to verify that they caught the fish. If a player gets a fourth card of a book, the player shows all four cards, places them face up on the table in front of everyone, and plays again.
If a player goes fishing without “catching a fish” (does not receive the card he requested), the turn goes to the left.
The game ends when all thirteen books have been won. The winner is the player with the most books. During the game, if a player is out of cards, they can (when it is their turn to play) draw cards from the stock and then request a card of that rank. If there are no cards left in the stock, they are out.
